About Stress Management Ireland
The aim of Stress Management Ireland is to provide practical workshops in stress and anxiety management, wellness, personal development, communication and leadership skills. The workshops are specifically designed to meet the needs of your organization and take the form of lectures, interactive participation, and feedback discussions. Stress management is now recognized as an integral part of modern society and an invaluable part of your own wellness plan.
We provide clients with the necessary practical coping skills to deal with everyday stressors whether in the workplace, in the home, or in the professional world of sport. Wellness Programmes
Lunch and Learn style workshops are extremely popular in the workplace as they focus on personal care and development. You will learn coping skills to help build your resilience, manage your stress, and plan a healthy and productive lifestyle. The focus is on the cognitive behavioural techniques that help manage thoughts and improve self-awareness. A great all rounder workshop, practical and inspiring! Can fit into lunchtime slot or can be extended to a half day training.

Stress & Anxiety Management
These workshops teach the basics of the physiological and psychological functions of the stress response. You will learn how to recognize symptoms of stress and anxiety in yourself and others. You will perfect techniques to help you cope with stressful situations whether in the home, workplace or personal. These workshops are scientific, engaging and highly motivating. Very popular!

Exam Stress Management
Using Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) techniques these sessions focus on mental, physical and strategic preparation for exams. Individuals are assessed and goal focused solutions are devised. CBT is particularly successful in treating exam anxiety, panic attacks and insomnia. Typically 6 sessions are recommended.

Relaxation Techniques
These interactive workshops teach the essential techniques to trigger relaxation both physical and cognitive. They involve deep abdominal breathing, mental visualizations, progressive muscular relaxation, somatics and problem solving. Flexible in structure and format these sessions can slot into lunch breaks or can fill longer sessions as part of a 6 week course. Very relaxing and popular!

Work Life Balance
These workshops focus on planning and “getting the balance right!” You will explore personality types, coping skills, goal setting, resilience building, and developing vision. We use visualization and relaxation exercises to enable you to reach a point of awareness that facilitates understanding and implementation. Very practical and inspiring!

Presentation Skills
Whether you are giving the presentation of your life or just a routine talk, these workshops will give you the skills to cope with any stress & anxiety due to public speaking. You will learn the fundamentals of performance, self-control, confidence, non-verbal communication and voice control. This is an essential workshop for all leaders, public speakers, politicians, team leaders.

Horse Assisted Learning
Taking you back to basics, this workshop provides you with a challenging environment that is suited to the client who is bored with the usual powerpoint presentations and outward bound courses! The aim is to improve your self awareness, communication and leadership skills, using techniques in non verbal communication, mindfulness, and problem solving…with a horse of course!
All activities with the horse are ground based and under the watchful eye of professional facilitators. A perfect corporate day out!

Corporate Personal Development Day Out
One of our presenters will meet with you and discuss your aims for your organization; they will then design a specific day training to suit. Typical contents would include a mix of Wellness, Stress Management and Communication skills.

Based in Dublin, Stress Management Ireland specializes in stress management workshops for corporate groups and individuals. We teach resilience, relaxation and cognitive control. Every workshop can be specifically designed to suit the needs of any organization or individuals, from relaxation to risk assessment!
20 Years Experience
Karen Belshaw MSc Psych & Wellbeing; BSc.Hons Psych; Dip.Cognitive Behaviour Therapy; Dip.Stress Management Techniques (Dublin); Dip.Performance Arts (London). Karen has been practising as a stress management consultant for many years and has particular interest in cognitive behaviour techniques. She is a member of the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) and bound by the code of ethics of PSI. Karen is fully insured to teach stress management techniques.
